A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! This was one of the BEST days in Egypt!!! If there could be a perfect day in my life, this one would be almost there (but not quite, I would need everyone I love with me) We started off the day with a visit to the nobels tombs where we hiked up the huge hill. It was totally worth it, because the view was to die for. When I thought of Egypt before I left I didnt think of Cairo, I thought of this. A large desert, a small village, camels, palm trees, the whole world below you, and the Nile splitting it in half. It was beautiful and it's something I will remember for the rest of my life. I couldn't fully capture the feeling with my camera, but I tried my best. It was so windy at the top! There were also some archeaologists that were excavating and most of the tombs still had paint! After, we went to an island with a bunch of plants from all over the world. It was really hot and we all wanted to swim, so we stopped by the hotel really quick and got our swimsuits and went to Betity's house. It's gorgeous there and I decided I will just move there instead of Cairo haha Then I swam in the Nile! I did it! It was freezing at first, like swimming off the Oregon Coast, but it was good once your body got used to it. Then we all got rides in a little row boat back to the house. Then we sat on the roof and drank tea and watched the sunset. Jaw-dropping. And the day still wasn't over. Next, we went back and changed and went out again. We took a ride in the carriage's to a cafe and back. That was fun too :) They went really fast and it was sort of a race to see who would get there first :O I wanted to share this day with everyone I love, but life has to go on. I will come back and do it again, Inshallah, and next time it really will be perfect.
