Abu Simbel, what a long day... We left the hotel at 5 am I think and spent about 4 hours in the car. Then we spent only about and hour or two at the temples, Ramese II, we werent able to take pictures inside though. Then we left and there was a protest on the road blocking all of the cars, and one stupid driver just kept on driving and hit and killed two protesters! Then they started throwing stones and what not at the buses and the police came and took the driver to jail and we had to go back to Abu Simbel because the road was blocked. So we went back and ate and then the road was finally ok, so we went back about three hours later I think. Then we had another 4 hour road trip and got back to the hotel and slept finally! Oh, and we also went to the souq for a little bit.
