Senior Dinner onboard the 'Scarabee'

Yeah, one star.

My friend Louise

Our boat was different than these (much bigger) but they looked cool :)

I'm sooooo glad that my school goes out and does cool things like this, because I don't go out alot with my family and I don't want to be like a tourist...and going out with 40 other students jabbering away a million miles an hour in arabic doesn't make me feel like a tourist-even if there was a bellydancer.  The food wasn't too different.  It was basically spagetti, chicken, potatoes, and salad, but it was very good.  So was the dessert.  There was basbousa, and little cakes, and awesome-ness with a little powdered sugar on top, and this weird yellow jello stuff that no one knew...so I tryed it ;) It was really nice and there was a live band, but they played music that made me think of a nursing home...After we ate too much, we went up to the top deck and there were nice little chairs and we just chilled for the rest of the night and watched as the Nile slide by below us.  It was perfect.  I wanted to stay there for the rest of my life and live there and never leave.  The weather was beautiful with a light breeze and just warm enough to not be cold :) Perfect.  This is why I came to Egypt.
